There are two big differences I see between children and adults. First of all, adults are always soooo stressed all the time (especially teens when school starts) but kids just go through life having fun and being happy. I mean, with Reagan if you just keep her fed and she gets enough sleep she's as giddy as can be for the whole day. I think we need to always ask ourselves if we are too stressed in life, and if we need to slow down and pay attention to the important things like God and family.
The other big difference is that I see children all the time who are so willing to just be themselves. This is a BIG one for teens because we're always trying to be someone else. Children don't care at all what other people think, they just accept themselves and accept others who need to be accepted. Thats another thing, children are SO accepting of people! Even if another kid doesn't have to coolest clothes or is really shy, kids accept everyone for who they are.
It's really crazy how much we never think about how special kids are. There is no doubt in kids lives, they know God is real and they are willing to just be with him. The children need to be are role models, not the other way around.

I think this rocks. You may find it going on the youth group website soon. So you are listening...
I'm like totally stoked that you posted this on your blog, one thing that i have been thinking alot about is kids don't worry a ton about self image. My little brother will wear like the same outfit day after day, and even wear it to bed, no kidding. But he dosen't have a problem with it, sometimes i think we get so caught up in not letting some one see us in the same out fit twice that it is sickening. I think God is really going to use this crap that happened to my vehicle as something to get me off of my self image. I kinda (side to say) had a pride issue with what i drove, and now i'm having to resort to a little old car with a busted trunk. I know this was more than a comment, but i am tracking with ya.
